Well knowing Carolyn would have chemo on the Monday before Thanksgiving we had our Thanksgiving on last Sunday. Rebecca, Sean, Anita, Yvonne and Terry, and Josh, Ashley, Tinsley and Tyler and special friends Mike and Teri were all here. The food was great and way too much but the talking and catching up were better!
Carolyn's first round of chemo she did not receive "pre-meds" which basically is an intravenous time released antinausea medication, so for about 6 days she didn't keep anything down. On round two, she got them and though the miserable feelings are the same, no nausea and eating isn't torture! Not much else going on. We're anxiously awaiting the new year, we'll travel up to Sisson Log Homes and work out our floor plan and get our pricing on the build project, (fingers crossed) its not too expensive.
