Tinsley Virginia Mitchell

Sunday, January 15th 2012.  Ashley got up to let her dogs out this morning and Tinsley decided it was a good day to be born. So she and Josh headed for the hospital. Once settled in their room the contractions were quick and strong. By around 2:30pm all the anxious grand parents to be were kicked out so Ashley could get down to business! After about 3 hrs of pushing the doc decided it was time for a c section. Mom, Dad, and Tinsley may be headed home sometime today. Tinsley was born 8lbs, 9oz, 20.5 inches long, she has brown hair and blue eyes and has quite a catalog of expressions already! Here are some pictures;
Popsicle while we wait on Tinsley.
Several hours later... mom and baby are fine.

Dad keeping everyone posted on the happenings.

Time for a nap...I've had a big day!

Gramma's happy, Tinsley's content!

Sleeping in style.

A very happy baby

looking around more and more, checking out who's who?

She's in!

Rebecca has been in her place for a week now and seems to like it. Her commutes are certainly shorter and saving her a lot on gas. We've been helping her with lots of little projects, with each one completed two more pop up.  At least we're getting the cheaper one's done first.
Ashley is doing great. Her last checkup on Thursday the doc said she's started to dilate, if she hasn't delivered by this Thursday I think she gets scheduled for inducing.
I'm still dealing with the tendonitis in the elbows, moving furniture awhile back didn't help, the left one has gotten better the right has a way to go.  I'm waiting on a new toy to make plantation shutters, we've always liked the look until seeing their price. With this tool I'll be able to make them much cheaper and with better species of wood.
Later this week I'll be preparing the canoe for re-finishing, I need to make a stand first using my saw horses.
Still trying to sell the house! we're still hopeful the lady from FL is successful as the market here has actually gotten worse.  Lola gets a visit to the vet today, she's got a growth on her foot that's bothering her so we'll see what that entails.
Weather has been warmer and a little wetter, no complaints, we still need lots of rain, no paddling cause there's no water in the rivers.
